OVDO links

OVDO is an affiliate of the National Animal Interest Alliance, an animal welfare organization whose members "feed, clothe, heal, comfort, entertain, inform, and protect the world."

OVDO works with the Ohio Association of Animal Owners on issues affecting responsible animal ownership.

Queen City Dog Training Club, Clermont County Kennel Club and Hamilton Dog Training Club are OVDO members.

One of several state federations working with AKC, OVDO supports the legislative and educational work of the American Kennel Club and the United Kennel Club, and welcomes the American Dog Owners Association to Ohio's issues. Through an extensive network of liaisons throughout the US, AKC keeps track of legislation proposed and pending in each state with a monthly report at http://www.akc.org/canine_legislation/taking_command.cfm.
